kitchen gallery wall.

i've had this big, empty wall in my kitchen for a while now and i've known exactly what i wanted to do with it. i found this gallery wall on one of my fav blogs a while ago, and i fell in love with it. it's just taken me some time to collect all of the items and actually do it.

you know, when i'm not taking care of my two munchkins.

{enter:} today's naptime.  i have been itching to do something creative these last few days, and have a million projects swirling in my head, so i wanted to at least complete one of them this week!  here is my sweet new kitchen gallery wall:

i've been obsessing over a few things lately that i love and this wall showcases a few of them.  first, the art at my new fav etsy store, the wheatfield.  i love the bright colors and whimsical, eclectic designs.  this "you are my sunshine" print is my first purchase and now i'm trying to decide what my next one will be...
{i especially love this print because this is our new favorite bedtime song; bella loves singing it and her little voice is just too cute for words}

vintage hankies.  LOVE em.  i originally bought these at one of my favorite antique stores for bella's room.  but alas, as i was planning out the design for my wall, i couldn't help myself and used them here instead.  oh--and bunting.  love it, too.

plates on a wall.  no big surprise, here.  ever since i was little my mom decorated with them, so it's in my blood.  i think every room in my house has a plate on the wall.

family heirlooms.  i'm wicked nostalgic.  it's true.  so i love having heirlooms and antiques passed down through my family.  on this wall i incorporated a muffin tin from my grandmother, as well as one of her old rolling pins.  makes me happy.

 and there you have it.  the finished product and my new, pretty wall.  i can't stop staring at it.
